a clove of garlic, possibly mashed up with a little salt and placed on the tooth, will relieve the pain and act as an anaesthetic. Sometimes even curing milder toothaches, this home remedy could be one of the more successful ones when applied regularly.

Do, however, make sure to contact a doctor or visit your dentist if you develop a fever in combination with a toothache, a fever might occur in these situations when bacteria from the tooth end up in the bloodstream.
